SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- CDL and a Clean Driving Record

- Able to Operate Forklift and Tractor

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Year Around

- Analyze weekly inventory levels to make accurate orders and rotate stock through on a timely basis.

- Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and feed store staff about the availability and delivery of feed products.

- Coordinate pickup and delivery of multiple weekly feed orders.

- Inspect truck for maintenance issues and schedule regular truck maintenance.

- Use of telephone and basic office equipment is required daily.

Seasonal

- Assist in the building, repair, and maintenance of grain bins and hoop buildings.

- Maintenance and repair on chainsaws, blowers, and trimmers.

- Preparing soil, seeding grass, and placing erosion control on waterways and lawns.

- Preparation of custom mixed recipes for lawn and field seeding.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

This job can be physically demanding on a regular basis, and a successful candidate will be expected to be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, lift, grip, grasp, push and pull various sized bags, tools, and equipment up to 50-60 pounds and occasionally more. This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders. This job will include both indoor and outdoor work in all types of weather and temperature environments and may also require the ability to work long hours during peak seasons.

This position is a Monday- Friday position that rarely requires weekends. Flexibility is important as much of our seasonal work depends on the weather. While there are tasks that are repeating there is a lot of variety in the day to day demands and work.
